How can we help?
Those affected by dementia are not only those with the illness itself but also their Carers. The object of The Hunter Centre is to relieve the needs of all affected by dementia and related conditions, in Haslemere and the surrounding areas. This is primarily done by operating a day centre providing care for those with dementia and support for their families and carers.
What we do...
The primary purpose of The Hunter Centre is to provide care and stimulation for those living with various forms of dementia.
This is done by treating each client as an individual with respect and dignity. Day care is given by staff with many years of experience in dementia care in a very relaxed, friendly and happy environment.

Events & Announcements
Coronavirus Pandemic (COVID-19).
We regret that The Hunter Centre has temporarily closed as from Friday 20 March 2020 and all functions planned by the Management team are now suspended until further notice. The Trustees feel this is in line with the latest government guidelines due to our responsibility to clients, their carers, our staff and the wider community.
There will however be a manned telephone line which is The Hunter Centre’s office number 01428 654710 or please email email@example.com with any questions you may have about caring for someone with dementia, particularly at this difficult time of being in isolation.
Whether or not you have been looking after a client of the day centre we operate, we are wishing to extend our support to all those living with dementia in South West Surrey, West Sussex and East Hampshire.
We are hoping to provide regular updates through the local press but may also be able to help with activities for you to do during this period, in your own homes.
Please do not feel alone, we are here to help.
