The Hunter Centre Charity Bridge Tea Friday 27th March 2026

We held a very enjoyable and successful Charity Bridge Tea last Friday in aid of our work at The Hunter Centre.

Fernhurst Hall filled up quickly and play began in earnest after a few words from our Chair, Anne Downing. We took a break mid-afternoon for a spread of sandwiches, tea and cakes kindly prepared and served by a fabulous team of helpers. A big thank you to them all for running it so smoothly. Play resumed and prizes were won; Ros Honeyman-Brown won first prize of a stunning floral display arranged by our Ambassador Jane Stopford and Judy Webster won the second prize.  We are very grateful to everyone who supported the raffle so generously, to the local businesses and individuals who donated the prizes and to all the bridge players who took a table and played. We’re delighted that the afternoon raised around £1600. Thank you all.
